The first floor of Slater Hall features the Gymnasium (with a stage allowing it to be used as an auditorium) and the Heritage Hall-- a mini museum of Slater-Marietta history. The first floor is the only portion of the historic Slater Hall that is open to the public. The Gym is available to rent. See the "Facility Rentals" page for more information about using Slater Hall for your upcoming event.
Technically the upper level of the first floor, the Mezzanine originally featured the movie project booth for the stage on the second floor and house two meeting rooms. The meeting room that faces the annex building held a seasonal public library. This level is not yet open to the public. We are excited to announce that the mezzanine level is slated to be reopened by Summer 2019.
Second Floor (Third Level)
The Second Floor houses several meeting rooms including a large meeting room covering nearly half of the floor space. This large room would be used by the local churches as their first places of worship and local civic groups such as the local Masons' Lodge. This level is currently closed to the public.
